The Central Pennsylvania Classical Education Resource Alliance (CERA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by local homeschool parents with a shared commitment to classical, Christian education. Our mission is to equip and encourage parents as they educate their children using the classical trivium, providing resources, training, and active modeling of classical learning in the home. We support families in cultivating a distinctly Christian worldview through the “classical tools of learning” and intentional, Christ-centered discipleship. 
 

Education flourishes in community, so CERA partners with and provides administrative oversight for local classical homeschool communities licensed with Classical Conversations®, Inc. Classical Conversations offers a time-tested curriculum and methodology that aligns with the way children naturally learn - integrating all subjects in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. Through this community-based approach, students grow as inquisitive, thoughtful learners while parents gain confidence and support in their role as their children’s primary educators.
